MUKAH: The community, along with the Village Development and Safety Committee (JKKK) and the Neighbourhood Rukun Tetangga (KRT) Kampung Sau, have joined forces to provide assistance to the victims of a recent fire incident in the Mukah area.
Led by tribal chief Mazlan Abdullah, JKKK and KRT Kampung Sau presented donations to the affected individuals, including cash and daily necessities.
“The donation is specifically aimed at helping ease the burden of Mahajin Moharen, who lost his wife in the fire incident at Kampung Tutus Ulu,” he said.
Mazlan expressed his hope that the contribution, along with assistance from other parties involved, would provide some relief to the victims during this difficult time.
He also expressed condolences for the loss of life in the incident.
The donation presentation was attended by Kampung Tutus Ulu chief Zaidi Basli and Kampung Sau KRT chairman Justin Damit, among others.
