A group of Chinese community leaders from Miri paid a courtesy call on Transport Minister Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin at the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) Complex today.
The delegates comprising 37 community leaders were led by Miri Temenggong Yong Uui Seng.
When met by reporters at the DUN Lobby, Yong said that the trip to Kuching from May 23 is part of their working visit.
“The visit to DUN on May 23 is also to see and gain more knowledge from the DUN Sitting,” he said.
He added that the delegates would meet Chinese community leaders here and pay a courtesy call to the Unit for Other Religions (UNIFOR) today (Tuesday).
The delegates will be in Kuching until May 25.
