MATU: A community outreach programme will be held at the community hall of Kpg Sekaan Besar here on Thursday, August 23. Scheduled at 8.30pm, the event is dubbed as “Malam Pautan Kasih Sempena Program Jom Berambeh@Sekaan Besar/Program Anak Angkat Universiti Pertanian Malaysia Kampus Bintulu (UPM Bintulu Campus)”.
It is jointly organised by Saberkas Jemoreng Branch, Matu District Office, the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) of Kpg Sekaan Besar Matu/Kpg Muut/Kpg Dagang/Kpg Treng Sekaan Besar Matu, Balai Raya Kpg Sekaan Committee and Universiti Pertanian Malaysia (UPM).
According to the programme spokesman and Saberkas Jemoreng Branch Deputy Chairman, Haji Abg Ikhsan Abg Ramli, various activities will be held during the event.
“They include karaoke and stage presentations by UPM Bintulu Campus, poco-poco dances, zumba performances and a lucky draw,” he said. Political Secretary to the Chief Minister and Saberkas Jemoreng Branch Chairman, Abu Seman Jahwie, is expected to officiate at the function.
