MUKAH: The local Chinese community still want Tellian assemblyman Yussibnosh Balo to represent them in the coming 12th state election.
Members from local non-governmental organisations (NGOs) gathered in front of Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Mukah branch office to express their support to Yussibnosh on Saturday (Dec 5).
The gathering, which lasted for about five minutes, was led by SUPP Mukah branch.
The NGOs involved were Foochow Association, Teochew Association, Chiang Chuan Association, Lions Club, Coffee Shops Association, Life Care Society, Che Muk Kher Moral Uplifting Society, Buddhist Associaton, Tua Pek Kong Temple Committee, Chinese Community Benevolent Society, Swiftlets Rearing Association, Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Saberkas Town Unit, and Unique Sports and Recreation Club.
SUPP Mukah branch chairman Yeo Tiong Ing also attended the event.
Recently, 58 tuai rumah under the purview of Penghulu Mawar Awang in Ulu Mukah and Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Youth Tellian branch also expressed their support to Yussibnosh.
