KUCHING: Consumers have been told to report unscrupulous traders to the authorities if they find them increasing the prices of goods unreasonably.
Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) Ministry Sarawak director Datuk Stanly Tan said its enforcement officers would be on the ground to monitor prices.
“We will take action if they are making unreasonable profits or profiteering, especially during the festive season,” he said in a statement on Sunday (Jan 30).

Complaints can also be made through the Ez Adu mobile application, call the Enforcement Command Centre (ECC) at 03-8882 6245/6088, call the Malaysia Government Call Centre at 03-8000 8000, Whatsapp to 019-2794317 or report to any KPDNHEP offices.
