KANOWIT: Cooperation from all parties involved, including project recipients, contractors, and implementing agencies, is crucial in every government project implementation.
Ngemah assemblyman Anyi Jana emphasised that collaboration is essential to ensure the smooth progress and timely completion of projects for the benefit of all recipients.
“I hope that all longhouses in my constituency will receive a fair distribution of benefits from the Rural Transformation Project (RTP) and Minor Rural Project (MRP) allocated under the constituency before the end of the current term,” he said.
He made these remarks in his speech at the project handover for the completion of longhouse awning installation with a total cost of RM100,000 funded under the RTP grants for Ngemah constituency at Rh Awin Bajing, Sungai Mapai here today.
In his speech, Anyi also addressed the issue of appointing community leaders, stressing the importance of following proper procedures to avoid problems and controversies within the community.
Meanwhile, regarding the Education Funds for students pursuing higher education at the diploma or degree levels, incentives of RM500 (diploma) and RM1,000 (degree) provided by his service centre, Anyi said that students or parents need to submit applications to the service centre.
“Due to limited funds, priority is given to students from B40 families who are in urgent need of assistance to commence their studies.
“Those who have applied and have yet to receive the funds are advised to be patient and wait for the distribution of incentives,” he said.
