Bintulu OCPD Supt Nixon Joshua Ali said the suspect was picked up by a police team at Jalan Bougainvillea.

A 15-cm karambit (small curved knife) was confiscated from the suspect.

“The Bintulu Magistrates’ Court has granted a five-day remand order for the suspect until July 29 to facilitate investigations under Section 457 of the Penal Code,” he said.
