KUCHING: Police have arrested a foreign man after he was found loitering and acting suspiciously in Matang here around 8.45pm last night (Feb 9).
A 22-second video went viral where the man was seen approaching and knocking on the windows of vehicles at a traffic light intersection along Jalan Camar.
Padawan OCPD Supt Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad said suspect was arrested before the video going viral.
“Police from the Mobile Patrol Vehicle (MPV) unit did not find any illegal items on the suspect.
“However, the suspect failed to produce any relevant travel documents,” he said.
The man is being investigated under Section 6(1)(c) of the Immigration Act 1959/63.
