PADAWAN: Police arrested three people, believed to be part of a vehicle theft gang in front of a shophouse at Mile 10, Jalan Penrissen on Tuesday (Mar 28).
Padawan OCPD Supt Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad in a statement, said the suspects were busted by a team from the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) around 5.15pm.
The suspects, aged between 32 and 36, had 13 previous records for crimes including drugs.
Police seized a black car and keys from them.
They will be kept in custody at Kota Samarahan police station and will have a urine test.
The case will be investigated under Section 379A (1) and Section 511 of the Penal Code.
