KUCHING: Three men were arrested after being caught stealing two iron bars at a vacant factory in Demak Laut Industrial Park here yesterday.
A team from the police multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) unit was patrolling the area at around 10.15am when they spotted the trio loading the iron bars into their car.
The suspects, aged 45, 32 and 23, were then detained and taken to the One Stop Centre at Jalan Simpang Tiga for further investigation.
Besides the iron bars, the police also seized the car, a receipt and cutting tools.
