KUCHING: Bau narcotics police had been active for the past two days. Yesterday at about 11.35am, a team of narcotics policemen raided an unnumbered house at Jalan Seringguk and arrested a 21-year-old youth there.
Found on him were two packets of crystal-like substances weighing 0.93g. A car and RM100 were also seized from the youth who tested positive for drug use.
On Tuesday morning, the narcotics police raided a house at Kampung Sibuluh where they arrested a 20-year-old youth who again tested positive for drug use. RM100 was seized from the youth.
That same morning, police raided a house at Kpg Jambusan where they arrested a man with syabu weighing 0.35g.
The man also tested positive for drug use.
All three will be charged under Section 12(2) of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952 for possession of drugs and Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous
Drug Act 1952 for consumption of drug.
Bau police chief DSP Poge Nyaon confirmed all the cases.
