KUCHING: “Kuching South City Council (MBKS) Hari Bersama Pelanggan” held at the Stutong Community Market yesterday aimed to share MBKS’ activities with the public.

MBKS Mayor Datuk James Chan said, “Here we introduce activities such as the upcoming Kuching Festival 2019, Kuching Zumba Fiesta, Mayor’s Walk 2019 and more.

“We also introduce to the public the city council’s iPeople app which was launched last year. We encourage the people to install the app. We’ve been pushing the app features through social media.”

Chan also said the council had received feedbacks from the public about it.

“Usually, the problems involve around e-mail registration. Nowadays, technology is a must.

“I urge the public to install the iPeople app. This is because the moment a feedback or concern is submitted through this app, it automatically notifies the city council directly.”

He added the introduction of the app was in line with the call by the Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg to go for digital and technology-based service transformation.
