SARIKEI: Repok assemblyman has commended Sarikei District Council (MDS) staff for their excellent work in the implementation of Projek Rakyat in his constituency.
“The Repok constituency has undergone many changes in terms of development after being led by Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS),” said Datuk Sri Huang Tiong Sii.
“Thank you for your diligence and upbeat attitude,” he said at a Majlis Ramah Tamah Aidilfitri and Pra Gawai 2022 here on Friday (May 27).
At the same time, he was briefed on a local traditional competition that was hosted by MDS recently.
The Bertuntung competition was held in conjunction with the Malam Tujuh Likur of the Hari Raya celebration on April 28 to 29.
“The competition is able to invigorate the spirit of community and enlivens the Malay community’s culture,” he said.
