KUCHING: A married couple was placed on a good behaviour bond for six months here today for a spat which led to injuries.

Homemaker Suezaliza , 38, and Sahari , 42, a golf caddy, fought at a residence in Jalan Bangau, Kampung Semerah Padi, at about 6.30am on June 23.

Magistrate Zubaidah Sharkawi ordered both to be on good behaviour for six months with a court bond of RM2,000 each, along with a surety.

According to the facts of the case, Suezaliza had an argument with her husband outside her father-in-law’s house over a request for money to buy diapers for their eight-month-old child.

Suezaliza claimed her husband slapped her on the head and hit her on the body, causing her clothes to tear.

As a result, a scuffle broke out between them, causing Suezaliza to fall and suffer pain when she was struck by Sahari’s motorcycle.

Meanwhile, Sahari claimed he had given RM50 to Suezaliza who demanded money angrily.

Sahari claimed his wife hit him with her hand, causing pain in his left chest and elbow.
