KUCHING: A delegation from the Asean Chamber of Commerce yesterday paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg at his office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia, Petra Jaya, here.
The delegation consisting of members of the chamber was led by its president Datuk Moehamad Izat Emir.
During the 45-minute meeting, issues discussed included efforts to strengthen Malaysian entrepreneurs’ participation at the Asean level and increasing and creating opportuniites for Bumiputera traders to penetrate the region’s market in an extensive and efficient manner.
Also present was the Director of Economic Planning Unit Dr Mohamad Abdullah Zaidel.
