KUCHING: A delegation from Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB) yesterday paid a courtesy call on Tribune Press Sdn Bhd and Sarawak Press Sdn Bhd at the companies’ premises at Jalan Abell Utara here.
The courtesy call, led by SEB Head of Corporate Communication, Peing Tajang, lasted for nearly an hour. It was aimed at enhancing ties between the two sides.
During the event, Peing revealed that SEB would be holding its “2nd Mountain Bike Jamboree” at the Batang Ai Hydroelectric Plant (HEP) on August 20.
“We choose the place again because we want it to be more lively with sports events and we want to promote sports activities in that area. It is one of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives,” she added.
Meanwhile, General Manager of Tribune Press Sdn Bhd, Lim Hong Ming, assured that New Sarawak Tribune would work closely with SEB to highlight its news.
Also present at the event were General Manager of Sarawak Press, Bobby Tham, Associate Editor of Tribune Press, Adeline Liong, Chief Editor of Utusan Sarawak, Awang Saferi, News Editor of Utusan Sarawak, Anthony Punan and media relations officers of SEB.
