BAU: Positive discussions and feedback from the Singai community are crucial for the development of Singai area in the future.
Tasik Biru assemblyman Datuk Henry Harry Jinep said, through meetings and discussions with the community regarding the development of the area, their feedbacks are important as to what are needed that can benefit the people.
He also said with a master plan, this will be in line with the development of Greater Bau and Greater Kuching blue prints.
“Today (March 4), there are a lot of people coming down for the town hall meeting and surely they want to voice out their suggestions and concerns on how to develop the area.
“So with open minds, questions, concerns and any kind of suggestions on this topic are welcomed,” said Henry.
He said this after attending the Singai Town Hall and Redeems 9th Triennial General Meeting (TGM) at Redeems Centre.
Apart from that, the Deputy Minister for Transport added that there will also be a comprehensive discussions to have a proper plan for the future for the area.
“The Singai community does not want to be left behind. What have been developed in Bau and Kuching, we want Singai to be developed as well.
“That is why it is important to have the people coming together and express their concerns and issues so that we the government can help,” said Henry.
Redeems president Datuk Peter Nansian Ngusie hoped that through the town hall session, there will be more positive outcomes that can be of use for developing Singai.
“Thank you to the state government for putting the Singai area into the master plan on par with the Greater Bau and Greater Kuching blue prints.
“On behalf of Redeems, we are happy to be able to play our part in assisting the community in implementing the plan for the benefit of the people,” he said.
