MIRI: The Faculty of Business at Curtin University Malaysia recently held a ‘faculty session’ for its new undergraduate students to welcome them to the faculty and the new semester.

On hand to welcome them was Dean of the Faculty of Business, Professor Andreas Zins.

He said the situation on campus was more or less back to normal after the reopening of the campus for physical classes in March and the gradual resumption of campus activities.

Starting this semester, all classes will be in full face-to-face mode.

“New students joining us this semester will experience some exciting new features in learning and teaching implemented as a result of lessons learnt during the pandemic and a re-evaluation of the evolving needs of our students,” he said.

The students also heard from Associate Dean of Learning and Teaching Dr Fayrene Chieng and the heads of the Faculty’s departments of Accounting, Finance and Economics, and Management, Marketing and Digital Business.

Meanwhile, an online orientation session was also held for students taking the Master of International Business (MIB) coursework degree.
Curtin Malaysia will produce its first batch of MIB graduates at the end of Semester Two (in December 2022).
