KUCHING: DAP is offering cash rewards for students in Stampin and Bandar Kuching who have obtained excellent results in their Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) 2022/2023 examinations.
Sarawak DAP chairman Chong Chieng Jen said those who scored a CGPA of 3.9 and above would be received RM1,000 cash, followed by CGPA 3.7 to 3.89 (RM800), CGPA 3.5 to 3.69 (RM600), and CGPA 3.3 to 3.49 (RM500).
Apart from the good results, he said an applicant must also be residing or studying in a school in Stampin or Bandar Kuching.

He said the ‘STPM Excellence Award Scheme’ was initiated by the Stampin and Bandar Kuching Service Centre to encourage students in the two constituencies to study hard and reward those who have achieved excellent results.
“Last week, we distributed the cash rewards to students, who did well in their SPM, including 201 from Stampin and 174 from Bandar Kuching,“ he said at a press conference held at the DAP headquarters here today.
