KUCHING: Sarawak recorded no new positive Covid-19 case on Wednesday, thus maintaining the total number of positive cases in the state at 682 to date.
According to Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), there were also no new recovery cases. The total number of Covid-19 cases which have recovered and discharged remained at 660, or 96.77 percent.
“At present, there are three cases undergoing treatment at isolation wards in hospitals. The total Covid-19 deaths in Sarawak remain at 19 or 2.79 percent,” it said in a statement.
The committee reported 38 new cases of persons under investigation (PUI) with seven cases awaiting laboratory results.
To date, there are seven active clusters in the state namely Engineering Firm with eight cases, Mambong and Stutong Market with seven cases each, Sentosa (31), PUI Melbourne (three), Kuching Construction Company (two) and Satok Market (four).
