KUCHING: The Panggau Dayak Towers, which will be home to the Dayak Cultural Foundation (DCF) and Dayak Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), have been completed.

Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas said that Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg will officially open the building on August 19.

“I was there at Panggau Dayak Towers this morning for a rehearsal, and our grand opening will be led by the Premier,” he said to reporters after inspecting the progress of the Unit for Other Religions (UNIFOR) Complex at its construction site at Jalan Ong Tiang Swee here, yesterday (August 12).

“However, there’s another part of the project that includes apartments and condominiums, and it’s still being worked on,” Uggah added.

The new headquarters of DCF and DCCI feature nine-story office towers, and construction began on October 20, 2020. The entire project cost RM103 million.
