KUALA LUMPUR: Shares of Dayang Enterprise Holdings Bhd on Bursa Malaysia were higher in the early session today after the oil and gas company secured a contract from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd on Tuesday.
As at 9.46 am, the counter rose two sen to RM1.38 with 2.84 million shares exchanging hands.
In a news report yesterday, the company said that the 15 months contract was awarded to its wholly-owned subsidiary Dayang Enterprise Sdn Bhd for the provision of hook-up, commissioning, and topside major maintenance services for Petronas Carigali in Peninsular Malaysia.
Dayang said the contract, which expires on Nov 15, 2020, is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings over the contract duration. – Bernama
