DBKU to look into Carpenter Street issues

KUCHING: The Kuching North City Commission (DBKU) will look into matters pertaining to Carpenter Street.

This was said by its mayor Datuk Abang Abdul Wahap Abang Julai when holding a Hari Raya open house at his house in Jalan Demak Jaya near here, yesterday.

“I was informed that there are matters concerning Carpenter Street which requires attention.

“Thus, we are working on it to make sure that we can solve the problem as soon as possible,” he told New Sarawak Tribune.

He also added that among the matters needed to be looked into are drain problems and road access.

According to Wahap, the letter came from the Kuching Old Market Community Association.
