KUCHING: A man was killed after being thrown out of his vehicle, which rammed into a traffic light pole at an intersection along Jalan Stutong here on Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Chan Sze How by the State Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu.

“The factory worker was making his way towards BDC from Jalan Stutong at about 11.50pm,” said Alexson when contacted.

Following the impact of the crash, the deceased suffered serious head injuries and later pronounced dead by paramedics summoned to the scene.

The remains were then brought to Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) mortuary for further action.
