Decrease in dengue fever cases, no deaths reported in Epid Week 25

There has been a notable decline of 8 percent in dengue fever cases during Epidemiological Week 25 with a total of 2,582 reported cases, compared to 2,808 cases in the previous week.

The Health Ministry (MOH) has confirmed that there were also no deaths reported due to dengue fever complications during this week.

Cumulatively, the reported cases of dengue fever until epidemiological week 25 have reached 56,721, in contrast to 23,183 cases reported during the same period in 2022, representing a substantial increase of 33,538 cases (144.7 percent).

Additionally, there have been 39 reported deaths related to dengue fever complications in comparison to 16 deaths during the corresponding period in 2022.
