KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi conveyed their heartfelt Deepavali wishes to the Hindu community in Malaysia, with a special mention to those residing in Sarawak.
In their message posted at Wan Junaidi official Facebook, they expressed hope that this year’s Festival of Lights would be celebrated in a joyful and harmonious atmosphere, filled with mutual respect and unity.
The couple further wished that the symbolic light of Deepavali would continue to illuminate the spirit of brotherhood and national unity among the diverse races in Malaysia.
