KUCHING: Members of Ahli Persatuan Amal Isteri-Isteri Wakil Rakyat Negeri Pahang (TERATAI) and Anggota Wanita Perkhidmatan Awam Malaysia (PUSPANITA) paid a visit to the Centre of Technical Excellence Sarawak (CENTEXS) here as part of their itinerary to Sarawak, today.

The visit was led by the wife of the Menteri Besar of Pahang, Datin Seri Datuk Burhah Mohammed, who is also the president of TERATAI.

CENTEXS said they were able to share the science and technological progress in all aspects of industrial and digital transformation with the delegates.

CENTEXS also hoped that the visit could benefit both Sarawak and Pahang in terms of the sharing of ideas on training concerning traditional heritage.

Upon the arrival at CENTEXS, the delegates were given a briefing on CENTEXS and its training programmes.

The delegates also toured the centre’s Digital Academy, and the Heritage Technology and Gastronomy Academy.

They also got the opportunity to see hands-on the Sarawak Songket weaving process and Keringkam headscarf embroidery.

During the visit, the delegates also watched a fashion show by the Heritage Technology and Gastronomy Academy.

Besides that, there were also exhibitions on traditional Sarawak food.
