BINTULU: Tan Sri Empiang Jabu Research Chair (TSEJRC) for Dayak Women’s Studies recently received a visit from committee members of Sarakup Indu Dayak Sarawak (SIDS) Kemena and Bintulu branches.
The Kemena branch delegation was led by its chairperson Jenny Banga, who is also the political secretary to the Chief Minister of Sarawak, while the Bintulu branch was led by its chairperson Catherine Lanyau.
The delegations were briefed by the chair’s current holder Prof Dr Jayum Jawan, who is also the dean of Faculty of Humanities, Management and Science, Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Campus (UPMKB).
A presentation was made on some short-term courses and trainings available through UPMKB’s University Agriculture Park.
