Telang Usan Assemblyman Dennis Ngau stated the five percent sales tax imposes on petroleum products would help the state to generate its revenue.

“We now can rely on our revenue (from petroleum products) to develop the state without touching any of our reserve (as said by the Pakatan Harapan government).

“As been stated by Abang Johari this morning, none of the state reserve is being used for 2019,” he stressed to the reporters at the DUN building yesterday.

Meanwhile, Sadong Jaya Assemblyman Aidel Lariwoo said he was impressed with the State Budget 2019 proposal.

“I am eager to see the plans to be carried out, especially in the rural parts. I am sure the rural people are also very happy with this budget proposal,” he said when asked by the reporters to comment on the budget proposal tabled by the Chief Minister yesterday.
