MERADONG: Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment recently provided assistance to residents in 28 longhouses around Ulu Strass, Nanga Strass, Sg Lemayong and Sg Bakong here.

Following his visit to the longhouses, he expressed gratitude to the people for their support in the recent election and is fulfilling his pledge to revisit the local community.

“Despite my current duty in Kuala Lumpur, I am still continuing to serve the people in the area diligently.

“I will do my utmost best to address the issues faced by the people, ensuring sustainable development for the community,” he said in a statement today.

During his visit, he took the opportunity to relax with the local residents, listen to their needs, and understand their difficulties.

The list of visited longhouses includes Rh Faustino Frederick Empran, Rh Johnson Edwine Mangai, Rh Ujeh Kudang, Rh Sampar Enchana, Rh Beragok Seli, Rh Jearry Juing Balang, Rh Keded Galau, Rh Lias Paing, Rh Lawang Kendawang, and Rh Gendang Kempat.
