KUCHING: Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan paid a visit to the family of the late Datuk Talib Zulpilip at their residence in Taman Sri Sena, Jalan Semariang here yesterday (Sept 16).

Upon arriving, Awang Tengah and his wife, Datuk Dayang Morliah Datuk Awang Daud, were warmly received by Datuk Talib’s widow, Datuk Dr Zaliha Abdullah.

During the visit, Awang Tengah offered his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.

He also expressed regret for missing Datuk Talib’s funeral on Friday evening.

The late Talib, formerly the Jepak assemblyman and advisor to Jepak Jaya Development, passed away at 72 at the Normah Medical Specialist Centre at 5.50 pm.

Born on Sept 13, 1951, Talib is survived by his wife, four children, and four grandchildren.
