SARATOK: Residents in Saratok should be confident that they will experience a multifold development impact if the parliamentarian who represents them is also from Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS), like their assemblymen at state level.

Kalaka assemblyman Mohamad Duri stressed that the three state constituencies in the Saratok parliamentary area are administered by GPS, namely Kalaka, Krian and Kabong.

“So, GPS feels it is better for us to be represented by the same party at both levels. We can then fight and move in the same direction.

“I am confident that when the Saratok parliamentary seat is governed by GPS, the impact of development will be faster and multiplied,” he said after a meeting with Chief Political Secretary to Premier Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman here, last night.

He said the people should therefore opt for change for the sake of more development.

“Therefore, I hope you give the mandate to GPS candidate for Saratok Giendam Jonathan Tait to represent us here,” he said.
