KUCHING: The implementation of development projects in Stakan constituency continues to be top priority for its assemblyman.
Newly elected rep Datuk Hamzah Brahim said that it is important to ensure the development in his area is well-planned and implemented accordingly.
“We want to ensure that development projects are implemented for the benefit of the people.
“Hence, facilities must be well maintained, monitored and taken care of from time to time for the convenience of the people,” said Hamzah, as quoted by the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS).
This was said during his visit to Kampung Sidanu on Friday (Feb 11).
During his visit, he was briefed on the problems faced by the villagers involving a few Rural Transformation Programmes (RTP) in their dwellings.
Hamzah also handed out the minor rural project (MRP) allocation to Kampung Sidanu representative Presto Sabin.
Accompanying him during the visit were Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Stakan branch vice chairman Daily Joseph, Kampung Sidanu village chief Eddy Sabin and also engineers from Public Works Department (PWD).
