KUCHING: A disabled teenager received a wheelchair and a walking cane from Hope Place yesterday.

Hope Place visited the boy, Wilson Jimbun, 17, at Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) to hand over the items.

Wilson was diagnosed with brain aneurysm rupture since birth and was admitted to hospital about a month ago due to brain hemorrhage. Unfortunately, the aftermath has left him unable to walk or talk.

The teen has been in SGH rehabilitation centre since and will be returning home to Lubok Antu in two weeks’ time.

The doctor, who referred Wilson to Hope Place, said that the teen’s fate in future is still blurry and hopes for the best for him.
