REPOK: The N45 Repok Service Centre organised a distribution of the national flag, the “Jalur Gemilang,” at the Constituency Service Centre on Wednesday in conjunction with the 67th National Day.
The event was officiated by Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii, who was represented by Kapitan Ling Dien Yong.
“The event received a positive response, with a strong sense of patriotism filling the atmosphere, making it meaningful.
“This activity is an initiative to ensure the raising of the national flag at all longhouses and in the urban and rural areas for the upcoming National Day celebrations,” said Huang, who is also a Member of Parliament for Sarikei and the Repok assemblyman, in a statement.
He urged citizens, traders, homeowners, and vehicle owners to fly the Jalur Gemilang, enhancing the festive atmosphere and demonstrating patriotism during the upcoming National Day celebrations.
