KUCHING: The Digital Village Accelerator (DiVA) aims to foster a robust innovation community in Sarawak who will drive the growth of digital technology and creative industries.

A collaborative initiative of Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation (SDEC) and Nexea, Cohort 3 of the flagship programme under the Sarawak Digital and Innovation Ecosystem, officially kicked off on March 8.

In a press release SDEC said the programme offered essential resources for nurturing startups’ innovative capacity.

“We are thrilled to meet and collaborate with all talented startups that have applied for the DiVA programme.

“Our goal is to provide them with the right platform, resources, and guidance to shape their ideas into innovative solutions that will contribute to the Sarawak Digital and Innovation Ecosystem,” said Chief Executive Officer of SDEC, Sudarnoto Osman.

Meanwhile CEO and founder of Nexea, Ben Lim said every applicant in DiVA Cohort 3 brought a unique story and a burning desire to make a difference.

“We’re here to empower them, and together, we’ll witness a collective spark of innovation that ignites Sarawak’s digital future,” he said.
