KUCHING: In conjunction with the 30th anniversary of Kuching City, the North Kuching City Hall (DBKU) will be staging a Sultan Tengah Musical Theatre from August 10 to 12, 2018 from 8.30pm at Stadium Perpaduan here.
Thus, DBKU would like to invite talented locals to audition for the musical. The auditions will be held on May 12 and 13 from 9am to 5pm at the DBKU Auditorium of the DBKU Headquarters, Bukit Siol, Jalan Samariang here.
To qualify, one must:
• Complete the audition form, which can be obtained at the audition location.
• Be a Malaysian.
• Attach a copy of your Identity Card and a 4R-size photograph.
• Have the ability to act, sing and dance (advantage).
• Bring a minus-one of a song of your choice in the form of a CD or DVD.
• Dress appropriately.
DBKU has the authority to reject applications which do not adhere to the regulations set. Contestants will be judged by a panel of professionals elected by DBKU. Only eligible contestants will be contacted.
Participants selected must adhere to the training schedules and recordings set by DBKU, who have to right to drop any participants.
The decision by the panel of judges will be final.
