KUCHING: Sibu Hospital is looking for family members or next-of-kin of an unidentified male patient who is currently being warded at the hospital’s Male Ward 23.
According to a statement yesterday, interviews with the 21-year-old Chinese patient revealed that he had attended SJK(C) Tung Hua, Sibu and had previously resided at Jalan Hua Kiew, Sibu.
To date, the hospital staff were unable to get any further information from the patient as he did not have an identity card when he was admitted to the hospital.
Information about his family is not yet available but the 21-year-old man said he had several siblings.
Anyone who recognises this patient is urged to drop by the hospital or call the hospital’s Medical Social Work officer Nur Athirah Rawi at 084-238818 during office hours (Mondays to Fridays) or the Male Medical Ward 23 (084-343333 ext 5205).
