SIBU: Police are requesting for members of the public who have a missing family member to come forward to help identify a man who died after being involved in an accident last month.
The man, who did not have an identity document, was hit by a car while crossing the road at Wong King Huo Road around 4.45pm on March 3.
He was immediately rushed to Sibu Hospital but died while receiving treatment at the ward at 11.16pm that same day.
Police believe that the man, with a ‘Green Komodo’ tattoo on his chest, was local based on the BCG vaccination on his arm.
The case is being investigated under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
