It will be held at Red Crescent Miri branch venue from 8.30 am to 1 pm.

“Organising blood donation campaign is a noble practice that can foster social responsibility by encouraging people to donate blood. It also aims to raise awareness on the importance of donating blood to help save lives as well as instil the spirit of volunteerism,” said the library’s Corporate Management officer Shirley Szebah Mambai.

Successful blood donors will be given snacks and gifts as a token of appreciation for their support.

The last blood drive this year, which was held on May 20 managed to attract 62 donors and a total of 45 bags of blood were successfully collected.
