KUCHING: Anggun, a new talk show by TVS, discusses current topics from the perspective of modern women and will now air every Sunday.

According to a press release, it airs live at 11 am and re-runs every Wednesday at 8.45 pm on TVS 122, MYTV, Unifi TV, and Astro.

This week’s episode, titled ‘Resting is Not Quitting,’ features Elly Mazlein, a singer, actress, host, comedian, and radio presenter, and Grace Akobiarek, a social science researcher and educator at a ‘Cambridge School’ in Kuching.Both discuss the importance of taking a break from one’s career before coming back stronger.

“Elly Mazlein, famous in the 90s, shares her personal story of taking a break from the entertainment world before returning as Kak Lina Pom Pom.

“She emphasises the importance of self-support and support from those around her in the process of making a comeback,” it said.

Meanwhile, Grace Akobiarek explains that resting does not mean quitting but rather rejuvenating oneself mentally and physically. Taking time to rest helps reduce stress and fatigue, as well as improve productivity and overall well-being.

ANGGUN promises an engaging show that not only discusses fashion and beauty but also delves into the stories and experiences that shape modern women’s lives.

The next episode will air live on July 14 with the topic ‘Business Woman’ featuring Melissa Francis.
