KUCHING: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof attended the ‘Malam Cinta Rasul’ programme in conjunction with Habib Ali Zaenal Abidin Al Hamid’s Dakwah Journey to Sarawak last night (Jan 28).
Fadillah, who is also the Petra Jaya Member of Parliament (MP), was also joined by Satok assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki.
Habib Ali arrived at the mosque compound around 6.40pm, followed by Fadillah and Ibrahim.
About 1,000 congregations were astonished by the knowledge-sharing ceremony of the well-known religious figure, which was held at Masjid Darul Hana Patingan.
Following the Maghrib prayer, the religious event began with the recitation of Surah Yaasin, selawat and zikir.
Immediately after, Fadillah and Ibrahim headed to attend the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Tupong machinery appreciation ceremony at the Penview Convention Centre.
