KOTA PADAWAN: Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian expressed his hope that prominent supermarket chain, H&L, would expand its brand throughout Sarawak.

He stressed that H&L is a local brand with great potential, and he hopes it will continue to evolve into one of Sarawak痴 most influential brands.

“To me, this is incredibly important, and I am very happy to see how H&L has consistently improved itself over time,” he said.

He noted that these improvements reflect changes in time, as well as the shifting behaviour of customers and consumers.

“We need to continue keeping up with these changes happening around us,” Dr Sim added during his speech at the soft launch of H&L Xtra at Kota Padawan Mall on Friday (Oct 11).

Additionally, he stressed that developing Sarawak痴 own brands is crucial as the state gears toward becoming a high-income state by 2030.

“As part of nation-building, we want to have our own brands, identity, and products that represent Anak Sarawak. That’s why I believe H&L can continue playing a key role in our nation-building efforts,” he said.
