KUCHING: Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Dr Sim Kuai Hian on Saturday visited the family of a Malaysian man detained in Cambodia.
Dr Sim who is also Batu Kawah assemblyman visited the family of Krisyanto A Ajiu, 28, who was detained on Dec 11 last year.
During the visit to the family’s residence at Desa Wira resettlement scheme in Batu Kawah, Dr Sim was accompanied by political secretary to the chief minister, Tan Kai.
Speaking to the family, Dr Sim said he would make every effort to secure Krisyanto’s release.
