SARIKEI: Dr Sim Kui Hian’s presence in Sarikei conscience has boosted the spirit of Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) supporters as the 15th general election (GE15) campaign enters its final week.
The Deputy Premier and Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) president visited the SUPP Repok service centre here, this morning (Nov 14).
He arrived at the centre at 10 am and was greeted by supporters who readily shook hands with amid shouts of “Hidup GPS”.
During his brief visit to the centre, Repok assemblyman and GPS candidate for Sarikei Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Siing briefed his president on the party’s operations room.
At the same, Dr Sim’s brief visit helped boost the election machinery in Sarikei to work hard to help Huang win.
After that, Dr Sim and Huang went to the Sarikei Buddhist Orthordox Association temple for a brief programme and presented a grant from the Unit For Other Religions (UNIFOR) to the temple.
Dr Sim urged communities, especially in Sarikei, to go out and vote wisely on Nov 19.
