KANOWIT: A local man managed to escape a car crash without injuries along Jalan Majau-Poi this morning (Feb 10).
The accident happened around 12.15am when the Honda City is said to have skidded and crashed into a ditch.
Firemen from Kanowit station were promptly dispatched to the scene after receiving a distress call.
Upon arrival, they found that the driver was not trapped in his car and only needed assistance to get out of the ditch.
The man was then handed over to paramedics on-site for a medical check-up.
Once the situation was deemed safe, the team ended the operation at 1 am.
