MIRI: An accident happened at Jalan Permyjaya Utama here about 10pm last Wednesday involving a Perodua Viva and Proton Saga cars which were both heading to Tudan.
It is learned that the accident occurred when the driver of the Proton Saga car lost control of his vehicle and spun several times before it stopped.
The driver of the Perodua Viva car travelling in the same direction was not in time to slam the brakes and rammed into the Proton Saga car.
The accident caused the woman driver of the Perodua Viva car to suffer body injuries. She was taken to Miri Hospital in an ambulance for treatment.
The driver of the Proton Saga car however escaped unhurt.
Traffic policemen were at the scene to investigate the cause of the accident.
