MIRI: A cement mixture truck driver was killed after the lorry he was driving skidded off the road and landed on its side in a swampy ditch at Miri-Marudi Road yesterday.
Miri Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) chief, Supt Law Poh Kiong said they were alerted of the accident around 1.12pm yesterday.
He said when firemen arrived at the location, the 66-year-old driver identified as David Banggai Nyuak was trapped inside the truck.
