SIBU: A driver and his passenger sustained light injuries following a two-vehicle collision at the Rejang Park traffic light intersection today.
The accident involving a Perodua Myvi and Toyota Avanza, happened at around 2.40 pm.
Civil Defence Force (APM) Sibu district officer Major Wan Mohd Jabir Wan Mohd Badrudin said a team was deployed to the scene after being alerted of the crash.
On arrival, they found that the driver and passenger of the Myvi managed to get out of the vehicle and sustained injuries on their forehead.
Both of them, aged 19 and 20, were promptly taken to Sibu Hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, the Avanza driver did not sustain any injuries in the crash.
The operation concluded as soon as the situation was deemed safe.
