BINTULU: Police here arrested a local man for suspected involvement in substance abuse yesterday.
OCPD Supt Batholomew Umpit in a statement, said the 31-year-old suspect was detained for inspection at the Wharf Penambang, Taman Sri Dagang.
“The suspect will be investigated under Section 12(2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 after police seized a straw tube containing 0.4g of drugs believed to be meth,” he said.
Aside from that, the suspect had also tested positive for drugs.
